Lecce Open Date Contest is a competition sponsored by the city of Lecce. The competition is opened to Europeans citizens, public administrations, schools, universities and enterprises. The aim of the initiative is to stimulate the development of innovative solutions based on the use of public data (open data – released by the Municipality through the thematic portal http://dati.comune.lecce.it), capable of enhancing the public information assets.
The City of Lecce launches this contest with the aim of encouraging citizen participation in the creation of solutions for an active and dynamic cultural and economic development with a particular attention to the quality of life of people and institutions by the promotion and reuse of datasets.
